SCAG 2028 Summer Olympic & Paralympic Games Freight Industry Forum

As part of SCAG's work with the Games Mobility Executive (GME) partners comprising LA28, the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, LA Metro, Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), Caltrans, Metrolink, we are leading the freight transportation demand management (TDM) workstream to support the region’s travel needs leading up to and throughout the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. This effort includes identifying, testing, and implementing operational strategies to minimize disruptions to freight operations that support the Games while maintaining supply chain fluidity across SCAG’s six-county region. We are continuing this Freight Industry Forum to introduce regional partners and industry stakeholders and begin preparing for the tremendous effort required for a successful 2028 Games.
